researched and found two plugins to help out with the creation of sitemaps / google friendly sitemaps and automatic displaying them. for displaying the sitemaps: http://www.dagondesign.com/articles/sitemap-generator-plugin-for-wordpress/

quick answer: after research i found out that this is not possible.

reference: http://mywordpress.ru

titles/headlines are in russian, however the slug is not.
you have to manually edit the slug clicking on “post slug” below the “categories” tab on the right of the “post screen”.

it is possible though to have ?cat=12 e.g. become /category/saws/ (permalinks activitated, tests conducted – works)
